How we can help...the Next Step after Physio
If you are recovering from surgery, illness or a medical situation or, are living with a limiting chronic health condition we are here to help. At Elements, we work with you to develop an individually tailored exercise program that considers your health and medical situation, your functional limitations, level of conditioning, job requirements and daily living needs.
Our goal is to assist you in the restoration of mobility and function, and to overcome limitations that you may presently be experiencing. We incorporate flexibility, posture, core stabilization, muscle strength and endurance, cardiovascular and balance exercises into our programs with emphasis on the following:
Improvement in Joint Stability
Improvement in Functional Flexibility and Endurance
Reduction of Cardiac Risk Factors
Improvement in Overall Functional Capacity
Reduction of the Possibility of Re-Injury
Improvement in Muscle Strength and Body Composition
Through appropriate strength restoration programs, as well as exercise therapy and injury reconditioning we strive to assist in the transition of rehabilitation from the medical setting to a lifestyle of maintaining health and wellness.
You have the option of professional in-home exercise programming or in one of our local gyms. We also provide exercise therapy in hospital, long-term care facilities and retirement homes. Therapy may include the aquatic environment and/or a variety of cardiovascular and strength training equipment, free weights, Swiss balls, tubing and select functional equipment. Where appropriate we will recommend a facility that will meet your exercise and wellness needs and provide the necessary support to ensure success.
